Purpose. The article analyzes the 2020 constitutional amendment on the protection of historical truth and makes its legal interpretation. The article is aimed at formulating an adequate approach to the study and protection of historical truth in the process of legal education, determined by the influence of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values and a statist worldview.
