The article analyzes the essence and content of the mechanism for integrated territorial development (ITD) as part of the state's legal policy. The study is based on examining ITD through the lens of its determination by such constitutional and legal foundations as the human right to a dignified life and free development, the guaranteed unity of economic space, the protection of private property, support for competition, the state's obligation to protect and use land and other natural resources as the basis for the life and activities of the peoples residing in the respective territory, the promotion of housing construction, and the ensuring of every person's right to a favorable environment.
