The modern civil procedure is developing in many areas, including law of evidence. Scientific and technological progress not only causes the origination of a multitude of new practical means of appearance, recording, and transfer of information, but also triggers the need to reflect these changes in the procedural sphere, primarily, in terms of proving and evidence. Not only the list of used means of proving with a specification of their application in the process, requires revision, but the very approach to understanding the means of proving and the procedure for their consolidation in the Civil Procedure Code of the Russian Federation, the Code of Commercial Procedure of the Russian Federation, and the Administrative Procedure Code of the Russian Federation.
