The article compares the minimum wage in the Republic of Azerbaijan and in the Russian Federation. The legislation of these countries is analyzed, as well as the positions of the highest judicial authorities on this issue. The article notes that the minimum wage is one of the main guarantees aimed at maintaining a decent life for employees. There are certain differences in the legal regulation of this category of labor legislation in the two countries. The special importance of guaranteeing the implementation of this category, enshrined in the Constitution (Basic Law), is emphasized Of the Russian Federation.
