In the process of reforming the penal system, the main priorities remain its humanization, and the primary method of its implementation is the observance of the rights and freedoms of the convicted person. Despite this, the prevention of offenses in the detention center, pre-trial detention center and other institutions subordinate to the Criminal justice system remains at a fairly low level. The scientific article analyzes the causal relationship, the problems associated with preventive work to prevent offenses in the IU, pre-trial detention center and other subordi-nate institutions of the criminal justice system.
