This article examines the history of the development of the computerization of the legal system in post-Soviet Russia, highlighting the early development of automated legal information processing during the Soviet era. It illustrates the state's need to modernize the legal system by accelerating interactions between legal actors from a historical perspective. The article presents the experience of developing computerization in the Russian Federation, highlighting both current legal instruments and those developed from the 1960s to the present.
