This article substantiates that the development of artificial intelligence in the context of the active spread of digital technologies is becoming not only a crucial element in ensuring digital sovereignty, but also a threat to national security. As a result, the state must strive to create a legal regime for activities using artificial intelligence that would not only create the necessary incentives for the development of national language models of artificial intelligence based on domestic developments in the field of digital innovation, but would also mitigate threats to digital sovereignty through the use of legal restrictions.
