The article examines the contemporary approach to interpreting the platform economy from a legal standpoint. In the current environment, the digitization of all sectors, including commerce and business, calls for a reassessment of legal frameworks because existing legislation fails to address numerous disputable matters. This situation underscores the need to analyze Russia's legislation to assess its adequacy and identify potential risks of controversy. The study's findings, outlined in the article, offer the author's viewpoint on Russian laws concerning the regulation of the platform economy, considering regulations that are not yet in effect.
