The article examines the constitutional and legal nature of digital currency as an object of protection of the right of ownership in the Russian Federation. The provisions of the Federal Law On Digital Currencies and Digital Rights, which entered into force on September 1, 2026, are analyzed in terms of securing the property rights of cryptocurrency holders.
