The article examines the current state of drug-related crime, taking into account the dynamics of criminal activities related to drug trafficking, as well as the influence of socio-cultural and economic factors on drug-related crime.
Objective: to analyze current trends in drug-related crime and evaluate the effectiveness of existing measures to combat this phenomenon.
Methodology: using an integrated approach, including quantitative and qualitative methods.
Conclusions: existing legal mechanisms require optimization; preventive measures need to be strengthened; and the integration of various structures and services is required to more effectively respond to drug-related crime.
The scientific significance of this study lies in its systematization of knowledge on current drug-related crime trends and analysis of existing prevention methods. An analysis of criminological data, as well as a study of international experience, provided an objective picture of the state of drug-related crime. The study revealed that despite intensified measures to combat drug addiction, the level of drug-related crime remains high, confirming the need to develop new approaches and strategies.
The practical significance of the obtained results lies in their application to the development of more effective public policy in combating drug-related crime.
