The article analyzes the judicial practice of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation in recent years in the field of challenging regulatory legal acts in accordance with the procedure provided for by the Code of Administrative Procedure of the Russian Federation. The issues that courts pay attention to when verifying the legality of regulatory legal acts are considered. Examples from judicial practice illustrate the work of the judicial system, how, with the help of judicial control, contradictions between legal acts are eliminated, socially significant social relations are adjusted, without destroying the foundations of legal relations. As a result of the conducted research, the author substantiates the conclusion that the CAS of the Russian Federation continues to be an effective instrument of judicial control to ensure legality in the activities of public authorities.
