Issues of actual inheritance acceptance are the cause of a significant number of inheritance disputes in Russia. Is it advisable to gradually abandon actual inheritance acceptance in favor of maintaining a purely notarial procedure? In this article, the author analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of actual inheritance acceptance and evaluates the potential for a simplified notarial procedure for inheritance acceptance. She draws conclusions about the potential for reforming inheritance legislation in this area, proposing legal tools for overcoming sensitive issues in this transition.
