The article examines the issue of providing evidence by notaries in the Russian Federation. The main objective of the article is to analyze the process of interaction between lawyers and notaries when notaries provide evidence. The article substantiates the importance of interaction between an attorney and a notary when a notary secures evidence in order to provide qualified legal assistance to individuals and legal entities. The author names two types of interaction between aa attorney and a notary when a notary secures evidence and identifies five stages of this interaction and proposes their classification
