The pages of this article are dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the birth of Pavel Ivanovich Novgorodtsev, an outstanding legal scholar, philosopher, and supporter of the theory of revived natural law, which was considered in the context of religious dominance in the last years of his life. The analysis of P.I. Novgorodtsev's idealistic philosophy of law, combined with the discovery of almost forgotten and previously unexplored milestones in the renowned legal scholar's work, has revealed the contemporary relevance of his philosophical and political-legal predictions from the perspective of spiritual, moral, and fundamental values in the cultural and historical context of Russia.
