An analysis of the elements of sabotage and a terrorist has been conducted, and criteria for their distinction are proposed. It has been established that the key differences lie in the object of the encroachment and the special intent. Additional proposed criteria include the method of committing the crime, the resulting socially dangerous consequences, and the type of intent of the perpetrator. The possibility of an ideal concurrence of these criminal offenses is also examined.
