Успешность в большом спорте: конкретизация понятия
Annotation
Статья посвящена уточнению понятия «успешность» применительно к большому спорту (спорту высших достижений). Установлено, что в большом спорте успешность начинается с призового места на континентальном или субконтинентальном турнире, признаваемом Международным олимпийским комитетом и/или проводимом под эгидой крупнейшей организации в данном виде спорта. Данный минимум выявлен в ходе исследования более 100 научных работ и официальных документов (законов, указов, постановлений, программ). С учетом этой «нижней границы» намечены главные пути преодоления спортивной изоляции страны: 1) отстаивание права на участие в основных традиционных соревнованиях (хотя бы континентальных или субконтинентальных); 2) повышение статуса собственных турниров и спортивных организаций до уровня крупнейших в мире.
