The article deals with the impact of deep technological transformation on the nature of crime and the mechanisms of social control. It is noted that in the face of new challenges, the traditional retrospective and repressive paradigm of criminal policy has exhausted its adaptive potential. Thus, technological progress not only generates new forms of cybercrime and indirect harm, but also radically changes the capabilities of the state in the field of forecasting, prevention and investigation of offenses. The authors argue for the need to form a new paradigm based on the principles of proactivity, predictivity, adaptability, and a balance between security and digital human rights. The outlines of a future criminal policy are proposed, integrating technological tools into the legal field based on the principles of humanism and the rule of law.
