This article examines current issues related to the role of state legitimacy and its importance for the modern Russian state and society in the context of the external factors and challenges facing our country, including in recent years. This research will address important issues related to the development of civil society in Russia, the formation of a middle class, current aspects related to ensuring the security of society and the state, development of state and economic sovereignty and other important areas. It explores the relevance of legal awareness and legal culture in Russian society from the perspective of combating legal nihilism and the value of fostering patriotic thinking and worldviews, as well as a sense of civic responsibility in the younger generation.
