This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the application of the Russian Federation's antitrust legislation to the field of theatrical services. The author examines the legal framework that defines the legal boundaries of competitive relations in this area and delves into the potential risks of violations of Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”. Special attention is given to the conflicts that arise when attempting to apply general economic prohibitions to activities with a strong socio-cultural and non-profit component. The article systematizes the main types of potential violations. Based on the identified problems, specific measures are proposed to adapt law enforcement practices and improve regulatory frameworks in order to achieve a balance between protecting competition and promoting cultural diversity.
