The article substantiates the position that in today's world, characterized by high dynamics of globalization processes and increased competition for investment flows, free economic zones (FEZs) have become a strategically important tool for state economic policy. Their significance is particularly important in the context of the formation of a multipolar global economy, where countries seek not only to attract foreign capital but also to ensure the sustainable development of their regions.
