Environmental Risks of Transferring Agricultural Land to Development (on the Example of the City of Sochi)
Annotation
This article examines the risks of converting agricultural land for development in the context of preserving the ecological framework of the area. Based on an analysis of Sochi court practice, the most common violations associated with changes to the legal regime of agricultural land are identified, including circumvention of public procedures, disregard for environmental restrictions, and the use of land transfer mechanisms for the implementation of investment projects.
