This article examines the current legal regulation of the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (systems) in state control and supervision activities. Based on an analysis of amendments to domestic legislation on state control (supervision), an attempt is made to substantiate the role of unmanned aerial vehicles (systems) in the implementation of control and supervision procedures. It is concluded that recent changes in the legal regulation of state control and supervision activities are associated with the establishment of a new basis for conducting control (supervisory) activities and the possibility of using unmanned aerial vehicles (systems) for inspections. The author substantiates the conclusion that the use of such vehicles (systems) in the state control and supervision system is at the initial stage of legal regulation, will expand in the near future, and reflects the digitalization of such activities and the expansion of remote control (supervision) practices.
