Relevant Problems of Implementing the Rights of Indigenous Small-Numbered Peoples of the North in the Sphere of Pension Provision: A Regional Aspect

This article examines the general developments in modern legal regulation of indigenous minorities' interests, focusing on the characteristics of legislative regulation and strategic planning. Various scholarly opinions on the effectiveness of guaranteeing the status of indigenous minorities are presented. Trends in the further development of legal regulation of indigenous minorities' interests are analyzed. Regional specifics of the Nenets people's rights in pension provision and the shortcomings of current regulatory lists defining the territories of residence of indigenous minorities are identified. Solutions to this situation that could protect the interests of indigenous minorities are proposed.
