The Child’s Right to Receive General Education: Selected Issues of Legal Regulation and Law Enforcement
Annotation
The article analyzes systemic problems in the implementation of children’s constitutional right to receive general education in the Russian Federation. Gaps in legal regulation, issues of safety and legal protection of children are examined. The system of organizing medical care in schools, which does not provide for the constant presence of a medical worker, is critically assessed. The need for balanced regulation of teachers’ appearance is demonstrated, and it is proposed to expand their access to free legal assistance. Challenges related to the digitalization of education are noted, as well as the need to establish an effective mechanism for monitoring the use of electronic devices during school lessons. Special attention is paid to the problems of realizing the right to education of orphans and children left without parental care.
