Purpose. To determine the prospects and development options for the "Russian School Abroad" concept as a form of preserving cultural and educational identity in a foreign socio-cultural environment. Russian schools abroad act not only as educational institutions but also as a tool for ensuring cultural continuity and public diplomacy. Therefore, their development requires the synchronization of pedagogical, organizational, cultural, and political tasks. Methodology: The article analyzes primary empirical materials obtained through interviews with heads of selected educational institutions abroad, alongside an analysis of regulatory legal documents. Conclusions: Enabling Russian schools abroad to function as a link to the all-Russian educational space requires state support. This primarily involves the uninterrupted maintenance of the educational and methodological framework, as well as a steady inflow of educators specifically trained to work in a foreign cultural environment. Scientific and practical relevance: The article synthesizes approaches to understanding the "Russian School Abroad" and can be used to prepare educational and analytical reviews. The results may prove beneficial for improving support programs for compatriots and international humanitarian cooperation.
