Annotation

The article presents the phenomenon of gender discrimination in the employment of women. The existing ban, supported by the norms of labor legislation, has not eliminated the practice of unjustified refusals to hire. The article emphasizes the importance of latent forms of inequality in the form of employer questions about marital status and the willingness to focus solely on career. The main reasons for the current phenomenon of infringement of rights have been studied, the tools for counteraction have been examined, and measures have been proposed to overcome the existing negative practices.
