Social Laws of the Vichy Regime in France: Facts and Assessments
Annotation
The article analyzes the legislative acts in the sphere of labor and social security adopted by the collaborationist Vichy government during its period in power (1940-1944). The historical and legal aspects of the development and adoption of these acts are considered, and the results of their application are revealed. The conclusion is formulated that cooperation with the occupation regime made it impossible to achieve the goals of protecting labor, family and the fatherland declared by the Vichyists.
