Goal. The goal of this article is to summarize the experience of the Law Institute of Vladimir State University in legal education of the population of the Vladimir Region through the creation of a comprehensive ecosystem that combines traditional and innovative formats of educational activities to improve legal culture, consumer literacy, and the formation of socially responsible citizens. Methodology. When writing the article, the methods of analysis, synthesis, description, generalization, and comparative analysis were used. Conclusions. The results obtained indicate the positive effect of the application of traditional and the introduction of innovative (opening a laboratory of consumer and legal literacy and a counterfeit museum, holding the Legal Trolleybus action, implementing the YuI Shkolam project) methods of legal education of citizens of the Vladimir region. The transition from individual initiatives and events to an ecosystem allows to significantly increase the level of legal literacy of the population, especially young people, and form the foundations of civic consciousness, covering a large number of citizens. The findings confirm the need to scale up and replicate the legal education experience of the Law Institute of Vladimir State University in order to form and improve the legal culture of the population. Scientific and practical significance. The scientific significance lies in identifying the patterns of educational initiatives and deriving a list of significant criteria affecting the effectiveness of this type of work, including through interaction with civil society institutions. The practical significance lies in the possibility of adapting the successful experience of the Law Institute of Vladimir State University throughout the country by implementing the recommended approaches and principles. The proposed system allows for a significant improvement in the quality of training for future lawyers and citizens, and creates conditions for the dissemination of scientific and practical knowledge among the general population.
