Specifics of Conducting an Incident Site Examination in Combat Conditions

Annotation

The article is devoted to the features of conducting a scene of an incident (SOI) in a combat zone. The emphasis is on the adaptation of field forensic methods to the extreme conditions of armed conflicts, where the safety of employees and the preservation of physical evidence are critically important. The authors of the article dwell in detail on the algorithm of actions of the head of the investigative operational group at the scene of an incident, the specifics of working with explosive objects, describe the rules of detection, seizure and packaging of physical evidence, the features of fixing evidence in combat conditions, tactical recommendations for organizing the inspection of objects. The authors emphasize the need to revise traditional methods of WMD, taking into account the development of technology and its integration into criminal practices. The following areas of improvement are highlighted: optimizing WMD procedures for combat conditions, developing forensic techniques, and strengthening interagency cooperation.
