Changes in Self-Perception as a Professional Among Students of Educational Institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia
Annotation
The article discusses the problem of professional development and reveals the specifics of the process of forming self-perception as a professional among students of an educational institution of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. The development of a specialist's personality and, subsequently, a professional's personality is not limited to acquiring the necessary skills for the profession, but also includes the formation of professional identity and self-perception as a professional. Therefore, professional identity plays a significant role in determining the confidence of a future professional in their abilities and professional skills, as well as their desire for professional self-development and their satisfaction with their service and motivation. The purpose of this article is to describe the results of an empirical study of the students' perceptions of themselves as professionals in educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
