In the last decade, there has been a significant increase in the regulatory burden in the field of antitrust legislation, both in terms of ensuring the protection of competition in product markets and in terms of the implementation of control functions by the antitrust authority. Based on an analysis of the number of regulatory acts in the field of antitrust legislation, the article concludes that the excessive legal burden has a negative impact on the development of competitive market processes. The article also examines the potential problems associated with excessive detail in antitrust control by the regulatory authority. The paper proposes one of the ways to prevent excessive regulatory burden on subjects of antitrust law. Along with measures to combat excessive regulatory burden in this area, measures to counter excessive specification of antitrust authorities' orders are presumed.
