Novelties of Legislation on Involving Minors in Criminal and Anti-Social Activities: Analysis and Forecast of Law Enforcement Problems
Annotation
The article analyzes amendments to the criminal law aimed at differentiating liability for involving minors in criminal and antisocial activity. While welcoming the legislator's decision, the author emphasizes the challenges law enforcement may face in implementing the new provisions. The article substantiates a position excluding the application of paragraph "b" of Part 2 of Articles 150 and 151 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation except in cases involving the use of the broadcast potential of information networks to involve minors in illegal activity. Possible classification options for crimes committed against two or more minors are proposed, and proposals are made for the legal assessment of actions involving the involvement of a minor in the commission of three or more minor or moderate crimes.
