Annotation

The authors of the article set out to define the legal nature of the institution of compensation for the violation of reasonable timeframes for the enforcement of a judicial act, and its place in comparison with other civil-law remedies for protecting violated rights related to the failure to enforce a judicial act within the time limits established by law. However, to understand the legal essence of this new institution from a legal perspective, it is necessary to return to its origins by analyzing various viewpoints and perceptions of legislators and law enforcers, particularly in light of the existing civil remedies for protecting violated rights under national civil legislation.
