Annotation

The article contains the author’s analysis of the current state of the labor market, primarily the number of employed people and the structure of employment. Based on the generalization of the identified digital data and factual material, a number of conclusions were drawn regarding the prospects for the development of labor law and social security law in the context of the evolution of the socio-economic system of Russia. According to the author, they are associated with the expansion of the scope of inter-branch labor law, possibly the identification of an integrated branch of law under the conventional name “employment law,” as well as with the adjustment of the characteristics of the labor relationship set out in Articles 15, 56, 129 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. Prospects are also linked to the cessation of further precarization of labor, as well as the stimulation of socially oriented technological renewal of the means and methods of labor.
