The paper presents an overview of key issues in commercial law that were discussed during the scientific and practical conference "Commercial Law: Innovations, Investments, and Intellec-tual Property" (dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Professor Oleg Alexandrovich Gorodov), which took place on January 15, 2026, at the Faculty of Law of Saint Petersburg State University. Professor of St. Petersburg State University Oleg Alexandrovich Gorodov, whose anniversary was marked by a conference, is the author of over 300 scientific and educational works. He partici-pates in the Scientific Advisory Board of the Intellectual Property Court, the Public Council of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property, and the Intellectual Property Commission of the Association of Lawyers of Russia. For outstanding contributions to the development of energy law, the scholar was awarded the prestigious V. A. Musin Russian Legal Prize. Thanks to Oleg Alexandrovich, St. Petersburg State University has been organizing the annual Summer School of Commercial Law for two decades, continuing a long-standing tradition of professional interaction and academic discussion in this field.
