The article discusses theoretical approaches to the definition of a tourist destination, highlighting its structural components and stages of evolutionary development. The study focuses on the Vladimir region. Based on official sources, the article provides evidence that the Vladimir region functions as a one-day destination. The author has developed a route map of the region's cities, identifying key points of attraction and highlighting potential challenges such as limited parking spaces, inadequate navigation, overcrowding in popular centers, and limited recreational infrastructure in smaller towns. The article offers recommendations for enhancing the potential for one-day tourism development.
