Optimization of Apple Device Supply Chains in the Conditions of Sanction Pressure
Annotation
The article examines the key aspects of optimizing Apple device supply chains under sanction pressures caused by geopolitical conflicts and trade restrictions. It analyzes the challenges associated with dependence on global suppliers (primarily from China and Taiwan), such as component shortages, logistics barriers, and supply disruption risks due to export sanctions. The authors propose supplier diversification strategies, including shifting production to Southeast Asian countries (India, Vietnam) and implementing digital technologies (AI and blockchain) to enhance supply chain transparency and resilience. Based on Apple case studies (including the relocation of iPhone assembly), it demonstrates how the company minimizes risks by balancing cost, quality, and regulatory compliance. The study emphasizes the importance of adaptive models to maintain competitiveness in conditions of instability, offering recommendations for other high-tech brands.
