Of particular importance in legal relations arising in connection with passenger transportation in the Russian Federation are issues of responsibility for ensuring the stability of the economy and society as a whole. In law enforcement activities, questions often arise in connection with the need to hold shippers, consignees and passengers accountable under contracts for carriage by road, which is characterized by certain features. This article sets out the basic parameters of the responsibility of shippers, consignees and passengers under road transport contracts based on the specifics of industry legislation, and draws conclusions and some proposals for reforming Russian transport legislation.
