The article describes and analyzes the legal grounds for terminating the validity of a certificate for carrying out regular route transportation and regular route maps issued to a carrier, if they allow vehicles with characteristics different from those specified in the route maps to participate in the transportation process, in particular, regarding their age, i.e., «older» buses. The author, based on legal approaches outlined in judicial practice, and in order to protect the rights of bona fide carriers who, due to prevailing economic circumstances, are unable to acquire "new" buses, proposes to suspend the provisions of paragraph 2 of part 5 of Article 29 of Law №. 220-FZ as it applies to the termination of the carrier's right to carry out regular route transportation, when operating «older» buses.
