This article examines current issues in combating crimes in the sphere of state defense procurement. It analyzes corruption-related crimes in the sphere of state defense procurement. The most common methods of committing corruption-related crimes in the sphere of state defense procurement are identified, including imperfect legislation, shortcomings in the organizational control structure, and the economic characteristics of the defense-industrial complex. Prospective amendments to criminal and sectoral legislation aimed at combating corruption-related crimes in the sphere of state defense procurement are proposed.
