Legal and Ethical-Legal Aspects of Providing Information Constituting Medical Confidentiality to Relatives of Certain Categories of Patients
Annotation
The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the ethical and legal conflicts that arise when medical confidentiality is disclosed to a patient's relatives. It explores the ethical and legal dilemma and the search for a balance in disclosing medical confidentiality to the relatives of an unconscious patient. Special attention is given to the challenges of determining the amount of information that can be disclosed, as well as the specificities of working with patients who are unable to express their will. The article also provides a detailed analysis of the legality of establishing a "reference desk" in a hospital.
