Chemical Castration as a Compulsory Measure of a Medical Nature under the Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Annotation
The article examines the application of chemical castration to persons who have committed crimes against sexual integrity to persons suffering from a disorder of sexual preference (pedophilia) in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Based on the study of laws and regulations of the state, as well as the opinions of criminologists, certain conclusions have been drawn about the specifics of the legal nature of this measure and the practice of its application.
