In the modern world, which is subject to various kinds of unstable economic and inflationary processes, objects of cultural value are increasingly turning into objects for investment and successful investment of material resources. Today, they are willingly acquired by representatives of criminal circles to legalize criminal income, but also by private collectors. As a rule, most criminal attacks related to the theft of cultural values lead to irreparable and irretrievable losses of society and the state of various cultural heritage sites. In the current situation, the formation and subsequent implementation of various comprehensive preventive measures of preventive impact, which will further block and eliminate ongoing criminal manifestations in the sphere of cultural values, is the most important and priority area of law enforcement activities. An accurate assessment and subsequent categorization of the entire array of challenges that pose a threat to cultural heritage sites, as well as the causal complex that determines their appearance, will contribute to the development and formation of the necessary mechanisms with the help of which it will be possible to more effectively prevent and minimize the consequences of the indicated manifestations. Therefore, the problem of studying the optimization of measures taken to protect these objects does not lose its relevance today.
