The article examines typical violations of the norms of the criminal procedure law. The practice of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation and the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation is analyzed. Typical violations of the criminal procedure legislation include the right of the accused to defense, as well as violations related to the storage of material evidence in a criminal case.
