Monitoring the Level of Upbringing and Socialization of Juvenile Defendants in a Pre-Trial Detention Center

The article presents the results of a study conducted at the SIZO-1 in Yaroslavl. This study aimed to provide a comprehensive assessment of the level of socialization among juvenile offenders in correctional facilities. The analysis focused on various aspects of social adaptation and integration of individuals in the penitentiary environment. Particular attention was paid to analyzing the factors influencing the formation and development of social skills among juvenile defendants, as well as their ability to engage in constructive interactions with others under conditions of isolation. The findings revealed key trends and patterns characterizing the level of social adaptation in this group and provided recommendations for enhancing the effectiveness of social rehabilitation during incarceration.
