Special Aspects of a Vehicle-Related Injury in Cases of Collision Between a Vehicle and a Running Pedestrian
Annotation
The article presents the results of an authors' study on road traffic accidents involving collisions between vehicles and running pedestrians. The mechanical origin of such vehicle-related injuries is analyzed. Understanding its specifics in collisions between a vehicle and a running pedestrians will enable more objective forensic examinations through a correct interpretation of the factual circumstances of the road accident, taking into account the analysis of the pedestrian's injuries, vehicle body damage, and crime scene investigation data.
