This article analyzes the "zero injury" concept (Vision Zero) through the lens of the implementation of occupational safety principles enshrined in Article 209.1 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation. It is shown that risk-based principles of hazard prevention, minimizing damage to worker health, and prioritizing preventive measures form the regulatory basis for integrating the "zero injury" concept into the Russian occupational safety system. The author proposes areas for improving legal regulation and practice: developing risk-based mechanisms, strengthening safety culture, and implementing the "zero injury" concept at the organizational level
