Regulation of Cryptocurrencies in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Belarus
Annotation
At present, the relevance of creating an appropriate regulatory framework for widely used cryptocurrencies is indisputable. In recent years, the Republic of Uzbekistan has embarked on an intensive course of digitalization, which is reflected not only in the regulatory sphere, but also in the scientific and doctrinal background. The Republic of Belarus, including in the context of the creation of the High-Tech Park, also Belarus, including in the context of the creation of a High-Tech Park, also offers effective approaches. Studying and comparing the legal regime of cryptocurrencies in these two jurisdictions seems useful for the potential development of a basis for integration regulation and useful borrowings for the Russian market. The authors conclude that despite the obvious insufficiency of the regulatory framework on a number of issues, the measures already taken are sufficiently effective to achieve the stated goals.
