The Specifics of a Subject of Crime in Land Plots Theft
Annotation
The article discusses approaches to defining the subject of a crime in cases of theft of land plots. It reveals the discussion on the relationship between such categories as "land plot," "land," and "subsoil," and proposes options for qualifying the corresponding illegal acts. The article concludes that "land" in relation to "land plot" does not permanently possess such properties as negotiability and a relationship with a subject. The proper subject of theft is exclusively land plots that are owned by the rightholder and are registered with the state, with established boundaries on the ground. The theft of a land plot with approximate boundaries is not possible due to a direct legal provision. Attempting to acquire rights to such assets should be considered an attempt to commit a crime
