Legal Issues of Protecting Social Rights of Participants in the Special Military Operation

Annotation

The article analyzes the system of social support for participants in a special military operation (SVO) and their family members. The authors state that the Russian state has already made extensive efforts to create a wide range of guarantees and benefits for this category of citizens. At the same time, the rapid development of legislation has revealed a number of systemic legal problems: the uncertainty of the legal status of the CBR participant, the fragmentation and conflict of laws of regulatory regulation, difficulties in implementing the rights enshrined in law in practice, as well as significant imbalances between federal and regional support measures. Based on the study of the provisions of regulatory legal acts and the analysis of modern judicial practice, the authors come to the conclusion that it is necessary to unify the status of ITS participants by developing and adopting a comprehensive law on their social guarantees.
